The BMI (Body Mass Index) is used by the medical profession to quickly and simply determine a person’s weight in regard to their height.

BMI is a measurement of body fat based on height and weight and applies to both men and women between the ages of 18 and 65 years. From a straight forward calculation a BMI factor can be gained and gives a measure which can be used to determine if a person is underweight, of normal weight, overweight or obese.

A BMI score is between 20 and 25. is considered to be healthy, a score below 20 indicates that you may be underweight and a BMI Value over 25 indicates that you may be overweight.
