    Hello To All

I am a Type 2 diabetic having been diagnosed in 1990. Have kept under control pretty good with medications while spending that time as an over the road trucker. Then around 2002 I was put on insulin. That stopped me from continuing with my job as the government doesn't allow needles in trucks. bummer. So I retired. Haven't regretted it either. Now my onl problem is that I have had to havean amputation. I am still trying to accept this. It has slowed me down a little bit. The phantom pain and the feeling that the limb is still there even though the pant leg's are empy.

Anyway, that is me and I am pleased to be here with others who know a little bit about what I have to put up with.

    Thanks

    Ron

Shadowman, I'm sorry you've had to stop the job you love. Even sorrier about the loss of your limb(s)!
