I have been living with type one diabetes for 25 years. I was 30 when I got diagnosed..its been no picnic and I'm not perfect. I have a major sweet tooth.. but I try to fit it in with my carbs intake.. thank you for allowing me to join the forum, looking forward to possibly meeting others having diabetes

Since Christmas I have had a severe cold (FLU) I would call it no medication offered just the usual PARACETAMOL etc.The cough is absolutely unbearable no relieve from it .I gave up testing my BS as it frightened me at times just took my insulin.and ate what I could .Still have the symptoms but a little improved. Now they say the flu jab wasn't the right one for most people
